A New Insulated Patio for a Withcott Home

Our team recently completed this custom skillion patio installation for a home in Withcott, just east of Toowoomba. Measuring 3.3 metres wide by 10 metres long, the new patio creates a substantial covered area along the back of the home. It provides the owners with more usable outdoor space while offering protection from the Queensland sun and changing weather conditions.

Designed to Suit the Existing Home

The patio was carefully designed to work with the home’s existing roofline, brickwork and outdoor area. Its simple skillion roof creates a clean, streamlined appearance without overwhelming the house. The structure was installed over the existing concrete and securely bolted to the slab. This allowed the homeowners to make better use of an established area without requiring an entirely new outdoor footprint.

Solarspan Insulated Roofing

Solarspan insulated roof panels were selected for this project. These panels combine roofing, insulation and an attractive ceiling finish in one integrated product. The insulated roofing helps reduce heat transfer through the patio roof, creating a more comfortable outdoor area during warmer weather. The finished underside also provides a neat ceiling appearance without exposed roof framing.

A Warm, Complementary Colour Palette

The colours were chosen to complement the home’s existing cream roof, warm brickwork and surrounding outdoor areas.
